Avian Arts was founded by Steve Brown and Richard Larson with much help from Richard’s wife, Donna.  For many, wildlife in their natural habitat is so far removed from the busy work day lifestyle that most people live today that the bond between humans and flora and fauna is almost nonexistent.  How many times a day do we stop and look up to see which bird is singing a beautiful song?  How many times a day do we venture into a marsh or wilderness to commune with the animals?  For most the answer is almost never.  Through the media of art, the founders wish to bring a change.

 

Steve Brown, is a successful producer of documentary films depicting the life cycles of birds, marine life and prominent sports figures.  He has filmed for both NASCAR and the NFL.  His Company, Gabby Productions has for many years served the advertising community, Fortune 500 Companies and the entertainment industry.  From filming to editing, the Gabby Productions team has over 100 years of experience.

 

Richard Larson has been painting and sculpting for many years.  He has most recently shown at Wilshire galleries in Park City Utah.  His love for wildlife and birding is reflected in his art.  He recreates serenity in a natural setting for the viewer. His wife Donna is the business fabric that holds all the creativity together.
